Aim & Scope
Membranes (ISSN 2077-0375) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal, which covers all aspects of membrane technology, including the preparation and characterization of membranes and their applications in water treatment, gas separation, energy sustainability, food technology, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries. Articles contributing to better understanding of transport processes in all types of membranes are also welcome. The journal publishes original review and research articles and short communications. There are no restrictions on the length of review and research articles. Full experimental details must be provided in research articles and short communications. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following: membrane preparation and characterization; membrane transport phenomena; membrane structure and function; fouling and module/process design; membrane-based processes in industry and chemical analysis; membranes in water treatment and gas separation; membranes in biotechnology, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering.
