Aim & Scope

The mission of Family Practice Management (FPM) is to help family physicians adapt their practices to, and assume leadership roles in, the changing health care system. Subsidiary goals include helping family physicians cope with practice management issues (including increasing government regulation and the movement toward managed care models of health care delivery), run their practices smoothly and deal with potential obstacles to the delivery of optimal medical care. The editors prefer original articles that are succinct, authoritative and written to help family physicians rather than just inform them. The online edition contains selections from the printed edition. ^[1]
