Aim & Scope

Discontinued in 2003. Incorporated into Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health, Part B (1093-7404). Comments on Toxicology is a vehicle for concisely and authoritatively written critical discussions of recent important developments in toxicology. Through the medium of the Comments, the editors hope to make it easy and enticing for the specialist in a given area of toxicology to learn about interesting work in other areas. The journal is meant not only for the toxicologist but for the chemist, biologist, and regulator as well. Each issue of Comments on Toxicology concentrates on a controversial and timely topic in the field of toxicology, selected and organized by a Guest Editor who is an expert in the field. Previous special issues have covered topics such as the biological effects of low level exposure, genetic diseases, intuitive toxicology, antimutagens and anticarcinogens, formaldehyde toxicology, forensic toxicology, the control of DNA synthesis and cell proliferation, and hazardous waste sites. ^[1]
