Aim & Scope
China perspectives is a multidisciplinary academic journal, published quarterly by the French Centre for Research on Contemporary China (CEFC) in Hong Kong. It focuses on current developments in China and the Chinese-speaking world, combining first-hand research with the theoretical perspective of social science. The journal was established in 1995, following the launch in 1992 of its French sister publication, Perspectives chinoises. China Perspectives, as an area studies journal focused on contemporary China, is open to a large scope of disciplinary approaches within the social sciences and humanities. Regularly covered topics include the political evolution of the Chinese regime, the impact of economic reforms, the socioeconomic and cultural transformations of Chinese society, and the role of China in today's world. Among the growing number of journals devoted to contemporary China, China Perspectives seeks to maintain a distinctive editorial line by including a special feature in each issue of the journal, usually encompassing 4 or 5 research articles that provide an interdisciplinary perspective. To access the latest issues' tables of contents please visit: http://www.cefc.com.hk/china-perspectives/issues [1]
