Aim & Scope
Bulletins et Memoires de la Societe d'Anthropologie de Paris / Bulletins and Memoirs of the Society of Anthropology of Paris ( BMSAP ) were created at the same time as the Society, in 1859, and are thus the oldest publication in the world in the field of biological anthropology. The BMSAP covers, in a multidisciplinary way, the various fields of anthropology, at the borders of the biological and the cultural. As such, the journal focuses on the origin and evolution of hominines, the processes of populations deduced from archaeological, genetic and demographic data, the dynamics of changes in societies and their environments, and biological responses. social and cultural values, and the history of the discipline. the BMSAPpublish, in French or in English, original articles, review summaries, and notes. They also publish reading reports, the list of theses defended each year in the discipline and abstracts of the annual days of the Anthropology Society of Paris. [1]
