Australian Feminist Studies was launched in the summer of 1985 by the Research Centre for Women’s Studies at the University of Adelaide. During the subsequent three decades it has become a leading journal of feminist studies.
The journal aims to:
be a key forum for transformative feminist ideas and analyses, nationally and internationally;
contribute to setting the terms of Australian and international feminist debate;
be genuinely interdisciplinary in scope.
As an international, peer-reviewed journal, we promote innovative and field-defining feminist scholarship within and across academic disciplines. We invite original and challenging articles of the highest calibre on any topic that contributes to current and emerging theory and research of relevance to feminism.
